SISS offers international students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Korean culture and tradition. With substantial funding from the Seoul Metropolitan Government, SISS guarantees a high-quality academic and cultural experience.

Through engaging courses, captivating field trips, and meaningful cultural exchanges, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of Korean society, language, and heritage. Explore the bustling streets of Seoul, delve into the intricacies of Korean cuisine, and experience the vibrant arts and entertainment scene.

Tailor Your Experience

Choose from two specialized tracks to deepen your knowledge and align with your interests:

• Business in Korean Perspective: Gain insights into the Korean economy, business practices, and global marketing strategies.
• Korean Culture Studies: Explore the depths of Korean culture, with a focus on mass media and popular culture.

Each track consisted of two courses, with each course worth 3 credits (6 credits=10 ECTS). Students can take both courses in the track they choose or 1 course to take.

Enrich your Summer with:

• Immersive Language Learning: Enhance your Korean language proficiency through engaging courses.
• Captivating Field Trips: Explore iconic landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions.
• Peer Advocate Buddy Program: Connect with Korean students for guidance, support, and cultural exchange.

• Language of Instruction: English
• Credits: Official transcripts transferable as credits

Early Bird Benefit

Secure your spot among the first 60 applicants and receive guaranteed on-campus housing at a supported fee by completing the application, nomination, and payment before April 30th, 2024.

• Starting in 2024, the Seoul International Summer School Ⅰ program is no longer part of our exchange program.
• Due to its fee-paying nature, the program can accommodate a maximum of 10 students from each participating institution. For larger groups, please contact us for further arrangements.
