OICA

Introduction

The Office of International and Cross-strait Affairs (OICA) at NCUE consists of four divisions: International Affairs, Student Mobility, the Language Center, and the International Foundation Program. The International Affairs Division is responsible for establishing partnerships with foreign institutions and fostering international relations. The Student Mobility Division oversees inbound and outbound student exchanges and provides a support network to help international students integrate into the NCUE community. The Language Center's mission is to enhance the Chinese language proficiency of NCUE’s international students, improve the language skills of local students, and offer language learning services to the general public. The International Foundation Program. ensures that international students acquire sufficient language proficiency, receive comprehensive academic and living support, and are prepared for successful employment in Taiwan.

OICA plays a pivotal role in integrating administrative and academic resources to position NCUE as a global education hub, embedding the concept of globalization into students' lives. Our goal is for all students and faculty to become 'Citizens of the World' while strengthening NCUE’s global presence.
