天普大學位於美東賓州的費城，創立於1884年，為一綜合性研究型大學，名列知名的英國泰晤士高等教育（THE）評選全球大學排名前350名，美國卡內基研究機構評為全美最活躍（R1）的學術研究機構之一，該校錄取聲譽崇高的傅爾布萊特（Fulbright）計畫人數亦居全美大學前25名。天普大學共有18個學院，提供逾600種學位課程，在東京及羅馬等地均設有分校，學生來自全球一百多個國家。

別號「友愛之城」（City of Brotherly Love）的費城，是美國最古老的城市之一，以其藝術、文化、教育與殖民時期的歷史遺跡聞名；現今人口約160萬，在美國東岸僅次於紐約市。費城交通便利，天普大學位於市區，由校園搭乘地鐵至市中心（Center City）僅約15分鐘。費城名列全美最適合步行的大城之一，市中心購物、餐飲、娛樂、文化及觀光等元素豐富多元，閒步市街即可一網打盡；「費城華埠」（唐人街）更是臺灣學生打牙祭或採買食材的好去處。此外，費城位於紐約市與首都華盛頓特區間，約台北至台中及雲林的距離，當日往返十分方便。

  • Please note that we can only accept exchange students from universities with which we have an exchange agreement.
• English + University Studies & Short-Term Programs 
  • English + University Studies Deadlines: October 15 (Spring), April 1 (Fall) 
  • American Culture at Temple Deadlines: December 1 (Winter), June 1 (Summer) – early application discount available

  Happy New Year!

  Temple University is excited to begin accepting nominations for the Fall 2024 inbound study abroad and exchange programs! 

   Please find our updated main campus fact sheet and study abroad flyer attached. Please note that there are some restricted subject areas that do not allow course enrollment for exchange students, or offer highly limited course options. For more information, please consult the fact sheet and contact me if you have any questions.

• Students who do not meet the minimum language requirements or who would like to enroll in additional English language courses may apply for our English+ University Studies Program. Additional information can be found in the attached flyer. Please note that English language courses do not offer university credit and additional tuition payment is required.

 

Nomination Deadline: April 1

Preferred Application Deadline: April 1

Final Application Deadline: April 15

 

Supplemental application documents (transcripts, language scores, etc.) must also be submitted by these deadlines. If you need additional time to nominate students or believe your students will need additional time to submit these application documents, please let me know.
