Multiple Pathways to NCUE
NCUE offers diverse entry pathways for international students, including degree programs,
foundation preparation, internships, and exchange opportunities.
English-Taught Master’s Programs

Earn a Graduate Degree
- International Master Program in Engineering
- International Program for Master of Science in Materials and Biological Technology, and Science Education
Designed for international students, these programs provide advanced academic training in a supportive, globally oriented environment.
International Foundation Program (1+4)
Start with Chinese
Progress to a Bachelor’s Degree
Students undertake one year of intensive Chinese language training and, upon meeting the required TOCFL level, progress to undergraduate study in selected programs, especially in Engineering and Technology.
TEEP Internship Program
Flexible Learning Pathway to Graduate Study
Participants can take credit-bearing courses flexibly while engaging in research or internship activities. During the program, interns may also apply to NCUE’s master’s programs, creating a seamless transition from internship to degree study. Interns receive a monthly stipend for up to six months.
Exchange Programs
Experience NCUE One or Two Semesters
Study at NCUE through exchange agreements with partner universities worldwide. Take courses, earn credits, and experience campus life in Taiwan.
