【Overseas Camp】Information on Pukyong National University (South Korea) 2-Weeks (July 31, 2025 - August 14, 2025) and 4-Weeks (July 20, 2025 - August 14, 2025) Summer Programs

報名方式：

1. 請詳閱附件一、二 該校簡章2025韓國釜慶大學暑期課程簡章 PKNU2025summer school brochure 詳閱活動行程安排、相關費用及繳費說明。

*根據本校與韓國釜慶大學有締結姊妹校合約，因此該校課程收費將會以Partner Universities 身分別來收取費用，亦表示該校2週課程為1000美元；4週課程為1450美元。

*說明：國際處謹代為轉發訊息，該校未提供本校派遣領隊老師名額，請同學審慎評估自身狀況是否報名參與，此外同學須自行處理與對方email聯絡事宜，包括詢問營隊活動相關事宜、報名、住宿、匯款繳費、購買機票、住宿、出國證件等等。

2. 報名截止日為: 2025年5月2日(五)，請提交附件報名表(application form)及學生名單( student list)寄至該校承辦人信箱grace.park@pknu.ac.kr

• How to apply

Please carefully review Attachments 1 and 2, the 2025 Pukyong National University Summer School Brochure (PKNU2025 Summer School Brochure), which detail the activity itinerary, related fees, and payment instructions.

*Based on our sister university agreement with Pukyong National University, course fees will be charged at the "Partner Universities" rate. This means the 2-week course fee is $1,000 USD, and the 4-week course fee is $1,450 USD.

*Note: The Office of International Affairs is forwarding this information. Pukyong National University does not provide a designated team leader for our students. Please carefully assess your personal situation before registering. Additionally, students are responsible for all email communication with Pukyong National University, including inquiries about camp activities, registration, accommodation, payment, flight purchases, and visa arrangements.

• Application Deadline:The registration deadline is Friday, May 2, 2025. Please submit the attached application form and student list to Ms. Grace at grace.park@pknu.ac.kr.
• Those who confirm their participation in this activity, please complete the overseas camp activity letter of commitment (Attachment ) and the student health self-report form (Attachment ).

I would like to share the below information about the 2025 PKNU - International Summer School:

▶ Application form: attached below

▶ Deadline: MAY 2(Fri) 2025, please submit the application forms and excel sheet

▶ Course Duration (inc. dormitory check-in/out)

        - 4 weeks : July 20 – Aug 14, 2025

        - 2 weeks : July 31 – Aug 14, 2025

▶ Scholarship: We do not offer scholarship for the PKNU-ISS program.

▶ Credits: Please refer the application form for the detail.

▶ No limitation on the number of students joining this summer school. 
▶ TB test result is compulsory for all international students. 

   So, please inform students who are joining the PKNU Summer School program that they must bring their TB test results with them upon arrival.

   ※ TB test must be done within one(1) month period 

TB Test result not acceptable if test done before:

• 4 Weeks: 20 June, 2025

• 2 Weeks: 1 July, 2025

*Please note that "Cultural Activity" will be conducted in crowded public places such as stadium, museum, theatre, and many other locations as part of the program which may be uncomfortable for students with 'panic disorder' or similar conditions. Students who may feel uneasy in such situations should take this into consideration when submitting the application.

*For 4weeks course, "SCUBA Diving" and "Sailing Yacht" require practical training (water activities) like swimming and diving in the pool or open water which is mandatory part of the program, so students who have a fear of deep water or water in general should take into careful consideration.

Hence, I would appreciate it if you could inform students to be aware that anyone who has difficulties participating in such environments may have issues related to panic disorder  or aquaphobia.

Please let students keep these notices in mind before submit their applications for the summer school program.

While we will be attentive to the safety of all students participating in the summer school, it is important that students themselves remain vigilant and mindful of their own safety at all times.
